The nude kisses seen ’round the gossip world in July weren’t as homewrecking as they seem, according to Miller’s friends. According to them, her married pal Balthazar Getty had been separated from his wife and sleeping on couches for months prior to their topless antics.

Getty and his wife Rosetta (with whom he has four children) separated after the photos appeared. “In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further,” said Getty in a statement.

Britain’s The Sun reported that vandals tagged Sienna Miller’s house in August with the word “slut” on the heels of the all-over-the-Internet nude fling.

The couple’s romance became public in July when Balthazar, 33 — who was married at the time — was photographed kissing a topless Sienna, 26, on a boat in Italy.

“I’m single at the moment, and I’m completely happy with that,” Miller told Us at the Hollywood Dominoes: VIP Launch in London.

Balthazar, whose great grandfather was oil billionaire Jean Paul Getty, announced shortly after the photo was made public that he was separating from his wife Rosetta, who is also the mother of his four children.
