The photo, taken by husband Keith Urban on his iPhone, was passed to Oprah as Kidman proudly said: “That’s my baby!” She went on to say that Sunday looks “so much like Keith. I call her Keith-ette.”

When asked by Winfrey about how she and Urban came up with the name Sunday, Kidman said her father told them about a “patron of the arts called Sunday.” She says that she and Keith “loved that name, but Sunday is our favorite day. There’s something to do with Sunday, where if you’re lonely , Sundays are a very lonely day. If you’re happy and you’ve got your family around you, Sunday is a beautiful day. So, our baby is called Sunday.”

Kidman then went on to call Sunday a “miracle baby,” due to the fact that she is 41 years old and has had pregnancy complications in the past. When asked by Winfrey if it was true that she had suffered two miscarriages (as has been reported), Kidman said she had suffered an ectopic pregnancy. “I talk about that because I think a lot of women have gone through that. I was very very lucky at this stage of my life to be blessed with a baby girl,” she said.

So now that she has Sunday, what’s changed in the life of Kidman? “I think something happens when you give birth … I cry so easily now. It seems something triggered in me,” she said.
