(Nov. 9) — Being that newborn babies can often conjure up thoughts of screaming, crying and lack of sleep, Gavin Rossdale comparing his son to one of the more tranquil figures in the world sure did stand out.

Talking with PEOPLE, Rossdale said that 2-month-old Zuma is “super mellow, and at the moment very Buddha-like.” Get the Full Story at PEOPLE.com

Zuma, who was put on display by Rossdale and wife Gwen Stefani over the last few weeks via photos, is also “more trouble” than his big brother Kingston was, but Rossdale says he’s still “perfect all the way.”

Rossdale says he’s found that children “just want to make you be better.” The former Bush rocker says that he used to be a bit more “reckless,” but now with this two kids, he wants “to make sure I’m good for them when they check me out.”

With a hit solo single to his credit now, Rossdale is back in the music scene, but there’s a negative side effect from that. He says he feels bad having to leave his sons to go record.
