Ince ready to hand Jansen a lifeline
Blackburn manager Paul Ince has hinted he may hand a Premier League comeback chance to former Rovers favourite Matt Jansen.
The 31-year-old has been training with the club for two weeks despite not playing competitive football since his exit from Bolton two years ago.

Ince is unlikely to be given funds to bring in new players in January and the former England international believes Jansen would be a valuable addition to his squad.
Jansen was a popular figure among the Blackburn fans during his time at Ewood and Ince hopes his enthusiasm will spur on his new team-mates.
“Matt’s a legend at this club and I know we can’t go round spending 9million on players,” Ince told The Sun.
“But if a good one like him comes along and you feel he could slot into our first team it might be a good surprise for us.
“When he retired from football it wasn’t because of any injuries, it was because, in his head, he felt it was time to jack it in.
“But now he’s back and wants to play. He’s still fit and he’s still got great feet.
“He’s been out for 18 months but didn’t look out of place training. He’ll get better.”
